ASTA takes great pride in serving string-instrument instructors from K-12 to grad school and beyond and in nurturing its joyful community. This website redesign helps members find what they need for teaching. In 2017, the revamped website received Davey Awards Silver Winner and MarCom Awards Gold Winner honors.
I inventoried ASTA’s content and reviewed user interviews and personas to determine the taxonomy and navigation that would best serve members and the association. During these discussions ASTA realized they had to create educational tools and build on the teaching resources they already offered. My wireframes modernized the structure of the site and inspired a bright, approachable design.
